When I visited India, I was most surprised by the chaos on the streets. I decided to draw the colorful mix of cars, rickshaws, bicycles, dogs, cattle, goats, peddlers, scooters and pedestrians amid dust and rubble with the vivacious graphics of South Indian textiles.
